POSITION Overview:
Ensure compliance with hours of service and other Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, including record keeping to maintain a Satisfactory safety rating and to minimize fines and penalties. Support the department with administrative duties.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES:
1. Audit and maintain records for compliance of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
2. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and applicable government regulations
3. Assist with the development process for truck driving championship and maintain records for company
4. Assist with managing safety awards programs
5. Review motor vehicle records for compliance
6. Provide support for Field Safety
7. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
8. Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:
o High school diploma or equivalent (GED) plus two (2) years' general office experience, some experience in safety preferred
o Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
o Working knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations preferred
o Good typing and data entry skills
o Ability to be a team player or work individually
o Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
