General Summary:
Under close supervision, responsible for any of the following:
Completion of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoices and receipts as assigned supporting procurement activities.
Maintaining a system of records, monitoring and tracking overall sourcing compliance and inventories.
Providing reconciliation and reporting.
Assisting in locating vendors and supporting on-boarding activities.
Implementing catalog updates.
Supporting more senior procurement staff.
Providing business stakeholders with support in navigating the procurement process.
Participating in identifying improvement opportunities with systems and processes with peers and leadership.

Bachelor's degree/equivalency in business related field.
Zero (0) years' experience in procurement/sourcing.
Knowledge of business software, spreadsheet applications.
Good interpersonal and communication skills. Good organizational skills.
Good written and oral communication skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
