POSITION OVERVIEW
Assist internal and external customers by investigating exceptions, claims and OS&D incidents. Educate centers on proper freight handling and OS&D fundamentals. Support creation and updates of OS&D policies for the company.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Investigate transactional OS&D incidents for both internal and external customers
2. Communicate and educate Operations on proper freight handling and use of tools
3. Assist centers with OS&D procedural questions
4. Review service center self-assessments as requested by department manager to evaluate the service centers understanding of policies and procedures
5. Monitor high exception accounts daily as requested by company management
6. Identify procedural errors through the review of OS&D reports or by reviewing cameras as requested by Operations Leadership
7. Assist in the development of enhancements for the OS&D system, policies and procedures as needed
8. Assist service center OS&D employees in investigating missing shipments, utilizing video cameras to support locating freight
9. Investigate overages at service center locations for quality descriptions and possible placement prior to forwarding to cargo risk for credit against freight claims with shipper or for disposition
10. Monitor discrepancy notices and shipper load and count customers to ensure company is not liable for claims due to OS&D situations
11. Review daily shortages reports to assess value and support high value issues for the field
12. Complete responses for customer non-conformance requests
13. Assist with educating field employees in the correct way to enter exceptions accurately to allow for mitigation of claims
14. Provide support to government agencies and other customers as directed by Security
15. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
16. Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS
o Must possess high school diploma or (GED) equivalent
o Two (2) years' experience in clerical support or transportation operations
o Experience and ability to use Microsoft software Word, Excel and Outlook
o Basic knowledge of OS&D fundamentals
o Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with various levels of internal and external customers
o Basic knowledge of LTL freight handling procedures and daily operations
o Well organized and detail oriented
WORKING CONDITIONS
o Must be able to travel to meet business needs

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
