Facility Provisioners are responsible for the creation, posting and clean up of telephone and Broadband facility changes. Candidates will create and distribute facility cut sheets and update those records in the appropriate system. Daily responsibilities include interacting with internal departments such as Engineering, Contractors, Assignment, Service Activation, Throws group, Area/Local Managers, Field Technicians and other internal work groups as required to ensure customer satisfaction and to meet scheduled due dates. Hours are M-F either 7-4 or 8-5 CST.
Special Requirements/ Certifications:
Successful candidates will have the following
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Telephony and Telephone plant facilities
Working knowledge of Metasolv or Similar BB inventory system
Able to read and decipher cable schematics or similar
PC skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Decision making and problem solving skills
Flexible to change
Team player/customer service oriented
Highly self-motivated
Work well under pressure
Effective oral and written communications
Strong attention to detail
Open to new processes and applications
Ability to work flexible hours
Education:
High School Diploma with relevant telecom experience or higher education required
Experience:
3
years experience, 1-2 years related to the job. College hours or degree may be considered for experience as deemed appropriate
